Wadzanai Mhute is journalist and an author. Her articles and stories have been published in Afrique, MethodX, MIMI Magazine, One World Anthology, Per Contra, the Philadelphia City Paper and the Philadelphia Weekly. She is the recipient of the Leeway Art and Change Grant. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Journalism from Columbia University. Wadzanai was published in Women Writing Zimbabwe (2008).
